The reintroduction of European bison to San Valley has started

In January 2017 started the work to release European Bison back to San Valley, in the south-eastern Biescscady in Poland again.
Three years ago the little population get tuberculosis and must be eliminated. Now the quarantine time is over and wisent can be reintroduced there again, tell us Bison Friend Society.
Seven bison from the Lowland/Caucasian line was carefully selected and was taken from Muczne to the acclimatization enclosure in Sokolikow. Here will the animals stay in 3 - 4 weeks before the fence will be taken away and they will be free. The hope is that this animals will create a new healthy population in the San Valley.
