Shall they stay in Slovakia?

The two European bison from Eriksberg, Endora and Entre, have now wandered freely in the Carpathian Mountains since January this year. They are in brilliant condition, very shy and difficult to photograph.

In early spring a group of five bison went over the border from Poland to Slovakia.
Wildlife Research Station Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Science in Ustrrzyki Dolne are following their movements. The scientific team are managed by professor Kajetan Peranowski.
